Who or what is sumogorilla. Well you may have noticed we really like monster movies.
Starting with the 1933 KING KONG (Still awesome), also the Universal Monsters and our favorite the Japanese Monster films like GODZILLA and GAMERA.
Our favorite movie here at SumoGorilla.com is the rarely seen japanese version of King Kong vs. Godzilla!
So we wanted to make our own monster as our mascot and title for the website.
Well we decided we didn't want to use a Giant lizard or Turtle, so we decided on a giant gorilla in tribute to the King himself. And to tie in the Japanese elements for the webstore .. we started kicking around japanese words and came up with Sumo.
Sumo-Gorilla...sounds good, looks funny, but made sense....Kind of..........
So SUMO GORILLA was born.
